Bitten Clothing by Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker started the Bitten Clothing line back in 2007 and it was exclusively carried by Steve and Barry’s stores. Unfortunately Steve and Barry’s filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and completed liquidating in 2009. So this brought the Bitten Clothing line to an end. It is truly a disaster as we loved the line. With all items under $20 and the slogan “Fashion is not a luxury”, how could you not love it? So even though we are the blogging about this bad news be sure to read to the end because we have some good news to follow about Bitten Clothing.

The name Bitten has been said to mean, one who becomes an actor has been ‘Bitten’ by the acting bug. I really do miss this line! I remember it like it was yesterday, browsing through the line in my local S & B store looking at all the Bitten SJP items. Browsing through jeans, shirts, coats, jackets, purses and so much more that were all under $20! The quality was not bad either! I am still so upset about this. Why did they have to go out of business? Why couldn’t someone else pick up the line? So many questions with so few answers!

Now comes the part that I am the most excited about! You can still buy new and used Bitten Clothing online. Sure it is via eBay, check out some of the items below. I wish there was another alternative but there isn’t. So this will have to be our best option to fill that empty spot in our lives. Let’s suck it up while we can because the day is coming that we will no longer find Bitten Clothing on eBay either
